Major schools project to change the shape of education in Ayrshire.

location
Dundonald Rd, Troon

This project was focused on the delivery of four new schools with an additional element of refurbishment to Marr Campus through procurement specialist Hub South West.

Working with three architectural practices, three Ayrshire councils and several manufacturers, the project was complex from the outset. Our solution was built around SFS, Dry Lining, Suspended Ceilings and Joinery.

We partnered with Kier to provide overarching solutions and deliver all four schools on time and within budget.  From the first piece of SFS on Garnock to the final ceiling tile on William McIlvanney, we worked tirelessly over a 30 month period to ensure all of the campuses were exceptionally well received by their respective end clients.

“Linear Projects played a massive part in the successful delivery of our Ayrshire Schools scheme. Their willingness to collaborate from cost plan stage through to handover and beyond proved to be invaluable. Their depth of knowledge and willingness to support Kier was evident throughout the full duration of the build and we look forward to working with them again soon.” Andy McTavish, Project Manager.
